Soloing ideas
There are many options to solo over this chord progression:
- The m6 chord suggests the the dorian mode, which also works over the m7 chord.
- The dominant 7th chord suggests the harmonic minor scale.
- The 9th chord suggests the melodic minor scale.
- The 7#9 chord suggests dorian or harmonic minor.
- The 7#5#9 chord suggests dorian or harmonic minor. You could also use the whole tone scale.
A simpler approach would be to use the dorian mode over the whole minor section, and the harmonic minor scale over the whole dominant 7th section.
You can also use arpeggios of course, and pentatonic and blues scales!
