Guitar lessons

Acoustic, electric & classical guitar — beginner to advanced.

In my online guitar lessons, I teach classical, electric, acoustic, and 12-string guitar. My lessons cover chord, scale, and arpeggio vocabulary; rhythm and lead playing; improvisation; technique; relevant music theory; and much more. I teach most styles of music, including rock, pop, blues, jazz, folk, and a little metal and flamenco. I have a degree in classical music and have been teaching guitar for over 25 years.

Ukulele lessons

Soprano, concert & tenor ukulele — beginner to advanced.

In my online ukulele lessons, I teach soprano, concert, and tenor ukulele across most styles of music. I am a classically trained guitarist and apply that knowledge to the ukulele. I enjoy teaching classical music on the ukulele, as well as rock, pop, and blues.

Music theory lessons

Harmony, rhythm, reading, songwriting & analysis — made practical.

In my online music theory lessons, I teach music reading, analysis, harmony, rhythm, scale, chord, arpeggio, and key relationships, as well as songwriting. I also cover relevant music theory in my ukulele and guitar lessons.

I am based in Kennington, London, and I teach online. My online lessons are delivered via Zoom. I have a state-of-the-art teaching setup, including high-definition video, a broadcast-quality microphone, and studio-quality guitar processing. Everything is professionally mixed so that you get the best possible experience during your online lesson.

My Zoom lessons are available to pupils anywhere in the world — I have many international pupils.
