Guitar Gift Certificates

Ukulele and guitar gift certificates available!

Would you like to buy some ukulele or guitar lessons for your friend, family member or partner? Or perhaps you would like them to buy some for you? I sell ukulele and guitar gift certificates.

Beginner guitar gift certificates

I teach a lot of adult beginners! It is never too late to start. Pupils just need the determination to succeed.

My beginner guitar lessons start off with some basic chords and strumming rhythms. We then move on to fingerstyle, riffs and more advanced techniques.

Pupils will learn how to read music notation in it’s various forms (standard notation, TAB, diagrams etc) as it becomes relevant to the music that they are playing.

I like to give beginner guitar lessons within the framework of well known songs and pieces, rather than using dry exercises.

How to purchase

  • I accept cash, cheque, PayPal or bank transfer.
  • I will send you a ukulele or guitar gift certificate by first class post
  • If you need your gift quickly, I can email it to you.
  • My studio is easily reachable from most parts of London.
  • The recipient can contact me at their convenience to arrange the lessons.
  • My contact details are on the certificate.

Acoustic guitar gift certificates

I give acoustic guitar lessons from beginner to advanced level. I teach everything from early blues & ragtime through to folk, rock, pop & indie music.

I also teach acoustic bottleneck/slide guitar. Slide guitar is great fun, and it really is a different realm of guitar playing.

I have many years experience on the acoustic guitar. From my busking days in the nineties, through various acoustic bands. I spent many years on the London acoustic scene performing my original music.

Electric guitar gift certificates

I give electric guitar lessons from beginner to advanced level. I teach everything from blues & rock ‘n’ roll through rock, pop & indie.

I also teach electric bottleneck/slide guitar. Slide guitar is great fun, and sounds fantastic on the electric guitar!

I have a lot of experience playing in rock bands. I started my first band in school and have played with many original and cover projects over the years. I play lead guitar in The Forgers Cover Band and Ultimate Beatles Tribute Band.

I have a huge repertoire of electric guitar songs. For further details, visit my repertoire page.

Classical guitar gift certificates

I give classical guitar lessons from beginner to advanced level. I teach everything from early music through to renaissance, baroque, classical, romantic and 20th/21st century pieces.

I also teach a little flamenco – just a little! If you are looking for flamenco lessons in particular, I recommend studying with a flamenco specialist. Flamenco techniques and style make for a great accompaniment to classical guitar study.

I had classical guitar lessons at Kingston University with Grahame Klippel. For further details of my classical guitar teaching repertoire, see my repertoire page.

Ukulele gift certificates

The ukulele has seen a surge in popularity in recent years, with many rock stars now including ukulele in their repertoire. ‘Ukulele nights’ are springing up in pubs all over the country.

The ukulele is generally strummed or picked with the fingers. My ukulele lessons cover most styles, from beginner to advanced level.

Many styles of music can be played on the ukulele, but very serious music doesn’t work so well due to the ‘cute factor’! It is generally used as an accompaniment for singers.

I have been playing and teaching the ukulele for many years.
